My post Christmas emotions ran the gamut from boredom to brooding over missed opportunities for festivities!
I settled for peace and quiet today...settling down on the sofa with a pillow and blankets and forbidden snacks of chocolate. Here I vegged the day away with no guilt for all the necessary chores I could be doing and post shopping of great bargains I get collect. I just took time for me!
Amazingly I am without a single child to care for or a male escort to entertain and it was OK. Maybe being very still and quiet can help me recharge my batteries to face the challenge of 2008. Tomorrow I will try to write about the past year and what it has meant to me or at least how I perceive the effect.
