What we doin now Gran?
It is the second week with two female teenagers, one nine year old granddaughter and one bewildered ShihTzu has been a combination of tender moments to remember and splitting headaches that linger for hours. There's a reason women normally stop having children at forty something....it's time for quiet!
Everything is in hyper speed or sonic boom volume, nothing can wait a nano minute and absolutely everything must be fair or at least cut into equal parts. I didn't remember drinking that much soda or eating every 15 minutes...well maybe I did remember that part!
But golly gee add the computer IMing, cell phones ringing, land phones ringing, door bell ringing, teenage boys running amuck, a Ipod plugged into ears that don't hear you begging them to turn the SCREAMING Whatevers down on the stereo: is a bit much even for an ex-hippie like myself. Let's get mellow I say.
In a time of instant access you have to s l o w them d o w n just to have a meaningful conversation with the instant messaging shorthand lol...
Let's go to the pool and just hang out.
So we did!
Hey D.T....the girls and I missed our chat online...safe journey on your travels to Calli. SIFWLY The Queen has left the castle!
