Chatting Online...Blessing or Necessary Evil

As of late, the Queen has been forced to use the chat line to keep in touch with my special person. Considering he is on an extensive trip it has been the best way to communicate almost daily. Cookie is very resourceful at the finding free internet service and considering his fondest for coffee it works out well. The draw back is always the time and the lag in understanding the nuisances of what the other person is trying to convey. Even though you may speak the same language there are gaps in understanding that come from a different upbringing, customs, culture and the fact that he is male and I am female. LOL

Lately we added the web cam which I truly enjoy seeing his face and often the area around him. I can tell if he's tired and it's a gift to see that he's happy to see me as well. Now, I know what you may be thinking and well....I'm not gonna say anymore than when you're away from your lover this is a plus and necessary evil of technology use it wisely and with discretion. (lock your doors)

Tonight we used the PC to PC call with headphones for a clearer reception. I couldn't have been happier to hear his voice. Duncan has such a lovely accent and dreamy soft tones in his voice. (other women would appreciate that aspect) There are alot of small problems with the system but the overall effect is a blessing when you can't be with the one you want!

Happy Chatting All, Shara
