Last weekend I was feeling the weight of the world on my shoulders and a terrible desire to runaway from all responsibility, disappointments and of course the things in life you cannot control. Fortunately for me, I have a wonderful friend in Port Aransas, Texas who lives in his sailboat and who didn't mind a sudden house(boat) guest for the weekend. Pat was a fantastic host and gentleman in every way. I felt so spoiled after only two days, it was very hard not to call in sick, just to stay alittle longer. Here's a few pictures which speak volumes for the beauty that is Port Aransas and may explain why I always love the ocean and Pat has a special place in my heart! Thanks Captain Pat for the wee sailing lesson...can't wait to learn more.

Hey little sis,
So nice to talk to you on phone. Made it out to Art Festival with the water my boss needed. She had me taking pictures of the event and will need me tomorrow to run more errands but she is a dear dear person and my boss..lol! The weekend in Port A was great and so it my friend, Pat. He's soon to be leaving the country to work for a year....let's pray he stays safe.
My trip to you is postponed til in of month...low on funds and too many tasks at work. Good to be necessary...
Love.

Thanks Gail,
I know everyone feels just like I do at times...a need to runaway...even if it's only for a hour, a day or a weekend. It helped me get back some respective or at least catch by breath! Also I grabbed some stunning pictures that only nature can supply...but you already understand that with your photography.
Love to hear for you and always enough your pictures...especially the Masher stories are my favorite. He's such a darling child.
Love....Shara
