Dear Shara,
Nice to see all those beautiful pictures!
seeing that fruit stall made me want to go home...to enjoy some fresh real fruit...not the one traveling all around the world..
in my home we have different kind of fruits all year round...i never eat breakfast, lunch or dinner...I'll eat all kind of fruits only...my mom know am the one doing all naughty stuff like climbing the trees and getting mango, guava etc.. she will ask me "who is going to marry this tree climber :))

Hope you had a great time!!!

hello Bindi,
Thanks, yes I had a wonderful time and now that I'm back in Texas I'm already wish I was on my way back to Italy. The sights, sounds and smells were like a postcard. I'm planning to return in June for a longer stay and hopefully a chance to work with a local artist. If nothing else but the opportunity to travel to other areas in Europe to broaden my mind. It would be wonderful to be a traveler of the world.

Hi Shara,

I'm in Austin waiting to board a plane (well, tomorrow morning). I'm so glad Italy was wonderful, and I can't wait to see more pictures! You might return in June? That is truly big news!!!

best,

Leah

Oh you are such a tease! I know you have taken more photos than that. I expect a full photo montage by the end of the week. You best hurry, the end of the week is almost here! I am glad you made it back safely, I hope you are able to get rested up, I am sure you are absolutely exhausted. Take your time with the photos, because good things come to those of us who have the patients to wait, but don't take too long.

So nice to have a welcome back party!
You guys are the best!
I'm not at my best yet and at a lost for words about Italy. Hard to imagine but it's as though I have experienced an overload and need time to make since of it all.
Duncan, so wonderful to talk (via inst. messenger) and get advice on how to edit all the pictures.
I snapped more than a 1,000...plus video footage. Duncan suggested starting another blog devoted to the trip, I think maybe that's a good suggestion.
About going back, yes I plan to go back this summer. Wish me luck with the planning and of course the expenses.
