Just Two Weeks

It's a beautiful day here in Fort Worth, Texas! I just had my hair cut and colored up again, getting ready for my escape to Italy for Spring Break!

The windows are down and the tourists are out in force at the Stockyards, a little slice of the cowboy culture Fort Worth has to bring in tourist ($) and hang on to their title of being a cow town. Most afternoons, you can witness a longhorn herd of cattle being guided by cowpokes in authentic cowpoke outfits. It really is something unique and special as running cattle has become mostly a thing of the past. In it's heyday, Fort Worth use to be the focus of many cattle drives to get their beef to market.

Today Presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton spoke to crowds in the tourist trap. I didn't make it in time but took some pictures of the motorcycles gathering for a whatever! Right now, motorcycles are a yuppie thing...lawyer by day...bad ass Harley rider by weekend! Hard to find a real bad ass in the bunch unless you're referring to ethics...LOL!

Anyway, I'm celebrating getting through another week at school, another deadline, another week of too much to do in too little time and getting closer to my dream vacation/adventure. Only 14 days, two weeks...I'm panicked about getting everything ready..damn the list, I'm going to Italy. I will be so full of shite, it will be pitiful when I get back. Just pretend you don't know me like that brother-in-law who always has too much to drink at every family get together!

OH, you've me my brother-in-law have you? Actually, he doesn't even have to have too much to drink for me to not like him. He's just a real looser. I married the best one out of the two, for sure. Good luck on "the List" and don't forget your camera. I'm so jealous. Italy!!!!

That's funny...or not so funny, depends to which man you're married to!LOL
While the trip seems so near yet so far away as money keeps going out the window on stuff. Today I found out my daughter racked up a $530.cell phone bill! I may never come back from Italy

Hi bindi,
I did have a pretty good weekend. I had three of my grandchildren overnight and even brought them to my classroom on Saturday. Yes, teachers work on weekends if necessary! Had a lovely early morning walk on a lake with my friend Jem and his dogs. Today just getting ready for the week ahead.
Oh, drinking in Italy...I think it's mandatory to drink the wine!lol
love you bunches,
Shara
