Turn right, turn right...

So on the second day of the new year, I proposed to get somethings off my to do list. I had a 12:30 appointment in Dallas which I extended to 2:00 but with my wonderful sense of direction, I was hopelessly lost. The old turn right, circle round just doesn't work with all the road construction and a huge wreck that blocked traffic for a hour or more. I didn't blow, I just decided to make the best of it and stopped in Arlington to take pictures of the new Cowboy stadium being built. The word is that it will one of the wonders of the world!

Actually I enjoyed the slow leisurely pace of the day with no dead lines, no real time lines and no one to tend to. After leaving the stadium, I stopped off at the Amon Carter Museum in Fort Worth to check out the new photography exhibits. Unfortunately it was too late for a tour but not for some really interesting pictures with the late evening light. From the museum you have a clear view of the Fort Worth skyline and Will Rodgers tower. Turn right and I was home again...at least I made my bed today!
