It starts off innocently enough! Let's get together for dinner...OK...call me Friday. Friday afternoon Stephanie (kindergarten teacher at my school) calls to say she's still at school helping the newbie kinder teacher (just graduated & is taking the place of a veteran teacher who left mid year) til 6:00pm. I'm not surprised as my younger protege is so kind hearted and helpful. Then she tells me she forgot she had a prior commitment with her buddy Caroline to hear their favorite musician play at a local pub, The Mule. After some persuading Stephie picks me up at 10:15.
The Mule is dark, seedy, smoke filled, crowded with faces from a Da Vinci's notebook, neon liquor signs, wall graffiti and I could smell the stale alcohol odor of many a party of the past. So of course, I knew I was in for a great night of music and interesting stories....it was!! Check out my little movie from the videos and pictures of my little adventure.

Hey sweetie,
It was fun but not every night or even every weekend...lol
Son & girlfriend are here til tomorrow when I drive them to airport for their flight to Colorado for some skiing...that's great fun.
