It's Personal

To my special one who is traveling across the continent again,
I watched the film, Blood Diamond tonight. Through it all, I felt such a connection to you and the sadness this movie must have brought back to you. The beauty of South Africa and the ugliness of greed are in such contrast. There is a pain in the hollow of my chest, slight discomfort letting me thread to your personal memories of a cruel and unnecessary hardship your endured.
