make this time with me holy
blanket your arms around my soul
together we are measured by our passion
leap to new hopes and dreams with me
take off your protective garments and reveal what no one else has see before
I am no one to fear
I pledge to be your protector, your buffer from the storms
join me now to create this grand vision
a world supported by an open and kind heart
stretch out your arms to include me
broaden you mind to hold my thoughts with yours
together let us weave a spiritual bond and search for a place to settle

Hello luv,
No, I'm not yet leaving for Singapore...it's just the crazy last days of school. Lots of field trips, promotions, programs, fun days, last field trips and parties. Hard to have a straight schedule.
Sara & I leave June 12 for Singapore and return June 24. I'm so what nervous and of course terribly excited too. Not sure I have enough spending capital...guess no one does but lately everything is nipping at my poor budget. Sara & I will buy nothing new (clothes) to travel and hope to get something interesting there. I will give you a call this weekend...I still don't know how to get the gift you gave me (lol...computer dummie I am)
Oh...heard for Duncan is South Africa, he's so good and kind, I miss him terribly but life doesn't always work the way we wish. This he is trying to teach me. I'm just a slowing learner..but I'm learning.
Love,
Shara
Shara,
The poem is beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing it with us. Lately, I have not had anything inspire me to write about. I have been trying to get things going with the new job, and like you, rounding up the end of school. They really do try to schedule too much those last few weeks. I am able to open your page again, so hopefully, I will be able to leave comments more often. I am sorry that things are kind of tough with the kids and budgeting. Life just doen't seem to get any less complicated. Sometimes, I think it is a shame we have to grow up at all. I wish we could all just stay innocent and carefree like the kiddos. I hope things go well in Singapore and that you and your daughter are able to reconnect and patch the bridge. Have a fantastic time, and hang in there.

Hey Cecile,
Thanks for dropping in and yes they do put too much in the last weeks. This year was better than the past years for me as I started clearing all the art projects two weeks ago. I was determined that all the student art would get back to their creators! It's often hard to get the kiddos to leave their art for contests & shows as they usually want to get them home to show mom & dad. Children's art is so magical...for lots of reasons, the innocence and free expression but mostly 'cause it brings them such pure joy to create! So that mess....pure creative energy..lol.
the trip looms near and I'm a bit apprehensive and excited. I've decided to approach it like a huge photography shoot and cultural study. Sara just can't wait to see Niz...her boyfriend(young love). No matter what I try to point out (the temples, art, historical landmarks)..she could care less! Anyway I look at it, I'm sharing a huge moment in her life forever. I feel grateful for the opportunity.
Will post till you guys are bonkers with it.

Dearest Bindi,
Take a deep breath...it will all be good.
I leave the apt at 4:30 in the morning...maybe I'll sleep thru most of the 23 hour flight! Grueling I know but terribly exciting! The tough part is packing...I always pack too much!
I'll be able to use Niz'z computer in Singapore some I can keep up.
Love you,
Shara
