Happy Chinese New Year! It's the year of the Rat for those that are curious. I am of course very curious about just anything that seems to come my way. Nosie was what my aunt Lolabell barked at me after catching me in her rouge at her dressing table. How could a girl of 8 resist the tiny hand woven basket made from pine needles? I just had to open the tightly closed lid to see if a tiny snake was curled inside! But look, it's a orangie red powder with a teenie powder puff. Let's see, how would this work...oh, yes...on your cheeks. "Ohhhh, no mamn, I was just looking." " No, Mame I do respect your things...I just wanted to see if you had a....yes, Mame, I'll go sit on the sofa!"
Wow, I just went on a tangent with myself...lol! Must be time to go to sleep and make a new day with my sweeties at school. I do love what I do!

Gung Hay Fat Choy! Happy New Year! Thanks for sharing your memory with us. I felt like I was right at that dressing table, staring at the tiny rouge. It's amazing the power that these prosaic objects can exert over our memories and souls.

Hey Bindi,
Aren't my students sweet! That's only one class of kindergarten...
Trying to get moved in...so tired,
Love you,
Shara
Hi Leah,
Truly was a surprise to me that the memory leaped out like it did! So I just went with it...glad you could identify with the situation.
Love to you,
Shara
