February 7th was the beginning of the Chinese New Year celebration. My art students from Kindergarten to 5th grade had great fun creating art celebrating the holiday and of course I decided we should make a dragon to chase away the evil spirits from the new year. I can't really show the faces of my students but you can get the alot from these shots. My favorite is the picture my 4th grade crew of children's feet going in and out of the entire school including the stairs. We actually practiced! It was such fun for everyone...the dragon is being revamped for another parade in March to celebrate an art event. I'll post those too!
