I'm Really Going to Italy!

When was the first time that I dreamed of traveling outside of the country? Probably the same time I discovered books like, The Black Rose, The Silver Chalice and Oliver Twist. Thick with adventure and drenched with descriptions of castles, moors, rivers with ancient names and places that were there at the start of history. I was nine or ten, I think, when I began to dream adventures in faraway places. Off to the library and then to France or the land of pyramids to pretend to be a queen or tragic figure of history. Today when I renewed by seven month lease and checked the mailbox, I received my official ticket to fly away somewhere.

I have a passport now! I'm moving forward...what is ahead for me now?

I like you. My sisters and I are BIG readers, so anyone who feels tranported by a book captures my heart. Oh, and the passports nice too!

Thank you for including me. I have always loved reading and use books to introduce art concepts all the time. Can't wait to share with everyone my first trip abroad.
